The 4th

This year we spent the Fourth of July at the Pearson Family Reunion. The family gathered at the old homestead in Fairfield. We had a talent show, caught up with everyone, went to the rodeo and parade, did a Janis Pearson Memorial Walk for ALS and of course ate a ton and set off a few fireworks before a windstorm came up and shut the whole thing down.

On our way to Montana

The First part of the week we spent with Mom and Dad Green. Lucky for Theo, Dad saved the old baby pool he used when he had pet ducks. Theo loves the water.

On our way to the reunion we made a pit stop at the Gates of the Mountains in Helena. It was so beautiful and made a wish we were living back in Montana again... hopefully soon! This part of our trip was specifically part of the reunion so my folks tagged along. It was great to see them!

Outside the Gates of the Mountains. (the rocks were really exciting for Theo)

This is the Chotue Parade. For a small town in Montana, we were quite impressed.
