Packsaddle Lake & Ririe Reservoir Boating

Beautiful Packsaddle Lake looking south.
The Green family had another eventful weekend together.  Using the same blog as last week for ideas we hiked into packsaddle lake directly east of Rexburg.  It was more of a  drive than a hike but it got us into the trees and woods we're used to coming from Montana.  A half-mile hike put us at the lake. We got to enjoy watching the fish swim around and kids swing from a rope into the water.  We couldn't have asked for a nicer day to get out.

In the afternoon we were invited to go boating with Alan's cousins the Griggs who live towards Archer.  Who could turn down a boat trip!?   Alan was too chicken to try anything behind the boat but Dusty and I enjoyed some tubing until my arms wore out.  It was such a nice day to get on the water.

A fun evening with family on the lake! Thanks Karen for the great photo.
