A Winter Wonderland!

The first few weeks of December brought lots of different emotions. Finals week quickly came and the end of the semester was right around the corner. In addition to the craziness of school we were gearing up for my favorite time of year- Christmas! We tried to focus on finals but we are human and need a little break now and again. Below is myself in ONE of my Christmas PJ's, you can't see it but my pants are candy canes. This was taken during come late studying one night of finals week.

I am happy to report that Alan and I both passed all of our classes and made it out alive of our first semester of us both being in school. It was very stressful and a lot of fun. Everything college is suppose to be.

When the semester ended we were delighted to get out of town for a few weeks, see our family, and celebrate the most wonderful time of the year. Above is pictured our new Christmas decoration that we added to our collection this year.

We kicked off our Christmas Vacation with a trip to see Sherry and her new house in Washington. She lives in a small town that is a winter wonderland this time of year. It is beautiful and a great way to start off our Christmas and fulfill my wish of a Christmas Blizzard. To get to Sherry's we parked our car in Spokane and carpooled with her, we had to take a tiny little Ferry to get to her home.

We arrived our first night in the dark, but the next morning when we woke up we went into town and this is what it looked like...

Sherry's new landlords have a fun little dog named Casey. She loves to play fetch and kept Sherry and I busy for hours.

As you can see Sherry's house is truly a Winter Wonderland. It is absolutely the best blizzard/snow I've seen in a long time. I love it up here and it really makes Christmas season seem much more magical this year.

Happy Tuesday Everyone!
