We have been adjusting to life as parents over the last few weeks and already amazed at how fast our little one is growing up. Below is the last pregnancy update that I wrote. I was tired and unmotivated to blog during the last few weeks. Plus we didn't really do a whole lot with pictures or fun activities.
SEPTEMBER 30th
How far along: 38 (2 weeks left)
Maternity clothes: Yes.
Ring: On.
Stretch marks: No.
Sleep: It’s not comfortable at all. If I didn’t have to
sleep it would be so much better.
Best moment of this week: Hearing our little babes
strong heart beat, hearing that the head is still down and labor is progressing
right on track.
Thankful for: Strong healthy babies.
Missing anything: Just being
able to do simple things, like cleaning, painting, bending over.
Food cravings: Ice Cream and fudge
bars.
Anything making you queasy or
sick: nope, but
my appetite has gone down.
How you feel: Wonderful, all things considered.
Gender: Surprise.
Labor signs: Braxton Hicks are in full swing and the midwife
says everything looks great.
Belly button in or out: Flat and stretched out.
Exercise and preparation for
birth: Nothing
really this week, other then the usual walking.
Happy or moody most of the
time: Happy.
Looking forward to: Meeting our babe. I can’t
believe how fast this pregnancy has gone.
One activity we did complete was Alan's dream of going to Cave Falls. It is a beautiful view and well worth the bumpy horrible road. One down side is the road didn't help induce labor at all.
Now on to the big exciting News. Our baby arrived!
